Founder
Nicolas has loved nature and craftsmanship since he was a child. His passion is designing and building places of resilience where everyone can (re-)connect with nature, themselves and others. As an entrepreneur, he not only does carpentry, joinery and cob construction, but also runs outdoor workshops. From design to creation, he likes to share his know-how at participatory worksites. He has set up several businesses, which led to the founding of Anku to enable outdoor craftsmanship.

Founder
As Professor of Circular Engineering for Architecture at ETH Zurich, Catherine loves to travel back in time. To enable a more circular and regenerative architecture, she explores the digital technologies of the future. Anku also enables her to explore ancestral and natural technologies. To meet today's ecological challenges, she has always combined science, engineering, architecture and art in environments such as MIT, Cambridge University, Arup, EPFL and Switzerland Innovation Park.

Communication craftsman
Diederick has been a passionate digital creator from an early age, and feels just as happy in nature as behind his computer. His passion for music led him to produce his own tracks, but he also masters video, photography and communication. Today, Diederick devotes part of his time to producing music videos for Anku, as well as managing the company's social media. His passion for visual creation and digital media enable him to share captivating videos of our adventures with our followers.
